My brethren, let me say, be like Christ at all times. Imitate him in “public.” Most of us live in some sort of public capacity—many of us are called to work before our fellow-men every day. We are watched; our words are caught; our lives are examined—taken to pieces. The eagle-eyed, argus-eyed world observes everything we do, and sharp critics are upon us. Let us live the life of Christ in public. Let us take care that we exhibit our Master, and not ourselves—so that we can say, “It is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me.”
Everybody take a good look, something unusal has happened. My wife has actually posted on her blog. Have a look HERE.
No man is excluded from calling upon God, the gate of salvation is set open unto all men: neither is there any other thing which keepeth us back from entering in, save only our own unbelief.
Okay, so the Verizon wireless, PC Slot card didn’t work out so well. It was slow and unreliable. So I cashed in on my 15 day trial and ordered DSL from our local phone service provider, which is Bellsouth. Though I only got the 1.5 Mbps/256 Kbps, it seems awfully fast, at least at the moment. Granted I just set it up but it seems faster than the T1 connection I have at Franklin Films in Franklin. But that could also be because there are several business suites in our office building and we all share the same T1 connection. I imagine that slows things down a bit.
Anyway, so now I think I am connected for real!
Well I’ve finally done it! I’ve broken the bondage of having no shackles to the internet when at home… I have purchased an PC Card from Verizon Wireless that allows me to connect to the internet through the Cell Phone network for one flat rate per month. Now I can be a slave to the internet while at home and not just at work. We’ll see if that means I post more on the blog…
