My wife and I will be leaving for the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival (Otherwise known as SAICFF) on Wednesday. We have been doing a lot of preperation here at the office for it. We have entered a film called A Journey Home, which I have posted a trailer to on my website. For more information about the SAICFF, go HERE.

Great Shepherd
Hello all,
I really wanted to get back to posting the wonderful distinctive marks of Reformed Theology, but I just haven’t had the time to get back to it.
I have decided to re-record some of my songs since I now have better recording software and equipment, and more experience. I just finished Great Shepherd and would like to start on another one soon. I have really been inspired lately that I should get an album together and make it available somehow. I don’t know how I would do that exactly though.
Anyway, the new version of Great Shepherd is available to listen to by going to the Music Page of My Website. Please send me any feedback, or use the comment link below

Back
Rachel and I just got back last night from our visit in Illinois. We had a great time. I also got to see my grandma who is doing better. I mean she is at least walking by herself with her walker (slow as she can be but she’s doing it).
I am a little tired this morning, but I’m sure I’ll get over it. Franklin Films is in the process of occupying a new office to go along with the current one so I need to get back to work.
Weekend In Illinois
I went up to see my Grandma in the nursing home last weekend. We left Friday afternoon (I was able to get the afternoon off of work) at 3:00 from my dad’s place in Lobelville. It was Dad, Elise, Levi, Rachel and myself in dad’s car. The trip wasn’t too bad for me at least because I brought my laptop with me and worked on the re-designing of my website that I had started a couple of days ago. It’s amazing how much time that sort of thing takes. I spent hours in Photoshop and Dreamweaver. And it’s not a complicated site by any means. I can see how web design would be a full time job. But I’m getting side tracked.
My Grandma fell 2 weeks ago sometime during the night and broke some bones in her face. She then went to the hospital for a couple of days, and is now in a nursing home for rehabilitation. She DOES NOT want to be there, and that is one of the reasons we went up to see her. She needs a lot of love from all of us right now. It’s sad because she is completely with it, but has a hard time talking. Anyway, those of you who read my blog, please pray for her.
Also, Rachel and I went to visit her Grandma Price in the nursing home in Pekin, IL. She seemed to be doing okay for the most part, though she had lost her glasses. But she had found them again by Sunday so she was in a better mood then.
Okay, so I don’t have much more to say, but I just felt like I needed to post something on my blog. Seems I am too busy to post on it very much.
Wedding Pictures
Here is a sample of the photos you will find on my hompage:

I finally got the pictures and last night and this morning before work, I worked on putting them on my site.
Bible Study
I’m writing this from work as I wait for my computer to export a video file.
Rachel came with me to work this morning so that she could do some shopping around the Franklin area. It certainly beats driving two vehicles all over the place as far as fuel consumption goes. Of course there is the added benefit of high speed wireless internet… and since we don’t have internet at home she likes to come with me sometimes to get on the internet and check email and all kinds of other stuff
We have been trying to keep up with out Bible reading every morning, and this morning we started memorizing out of the book of James again. We had started memorizing the 1st chapter of James about 2 months before we were married, but we sort of slacked off after the wedding. It feels good to be getting back on track.
My Wedding
Well, it’s finally (and I mean finally) upon us. My wedding is in 6 days. I am so happy I can hardly contain it. For those of you not familar, we go to a small chuch (6 families), and during prayer time they had me come up to the front and they prayed for me. They prayed that I would be a good husband to Rachel, and a lot of other stuff that I can’t remember. Yes, I was a little bit emotional, but it was great having all the men in the church praying for me. It really is wonderful to be involved with a church family that cares for one another.
Really Busy
Well, I’ve been running like I’m headed to a fire all the time. I’m told it only gets busier from here on out. Such is life I guess. I finally had time to update my website with new pictures, and I hope to have time to update the links section soon. I also need to work on my CovenantBeliever.com website sometime soon.
I have today off of work for Memorial Day (I’m actually writing this on Memorial Day, but won’t be able to post this until Tuesday). Rachel was here in Tennessee and brought a lot of stuff with here, so I spent the afternoon organizing a little bit. I’m sure she will want to implement her own organizational scheme after we are married, but for now I try to keep a small semblance of order.
Too Busy?
I’ve been very busy of late. Between trying to keep up with my work, planning a wedding and the various grasses and weeds of the spring/summer, not to mention my being allergic to almost any kind of pollen. It even seems that I’ve been too busy for God lately. I mean I haven’t done my morning Bible reading very consistently lately. It seems to me that if you are too busy for God, you are just simply too busy. But I don’t know how to slow down either. I was reminded yesterday at Church that the only way to have time for daily devotions is to make time for them. It’s amazing, Rachel and I used to both do our devotions in the morning and then we would email our thoughts about the passage to each other. I loved doing it, and yet I can’t seem to make time for it anymore.
I find it amazing that we can just get so busy we don’t’ have time for God, our creator. I mean, Jesus took time out of his busy schedule to come and die for us, surely we can sacrifice a little bit of time for daily devotions. So, when I get a little bit more consistent in my daily devotions, maybe I can then justify posting here more often… o but that requires time too, which is why I haven’t bee posting here very often in the first place.
