Contrary to popular opinion, I am not dead or dying, and I’m posting to prove it. I am so behind it’s not even funny, but that’s nothing new so I don’t know why I’m mentioning it. Since it’s nothing new it really doesn’t make a good excuse.

One thing is for certain, if there are any left who are still subscribed to this blog, or check in on it, it’s an absolute miracle…

Now, I really shouldn’t even be posting, but I’m on “lunch break.” And I really have nothing to say.

I suppose I could mention that there is a conference coming up that I’m helping to plan and promote. Go and register HERE.

As you can see, I have finally taken the time to start adding blogger labels to my 157 (now 158) posts. Labels are good… it was one of the things I really didn’t like that much about blogger when I first started blogging, the lack of labels. With the upgrade to the new blogger, labels are here, but now I have to add them to all my posts. I think I have labeled something like 25 posts now. For now, the only place labels will appear is the bottom of each post. From there you can click on a label to see all the posts within that label. At some point I am going to add a side bar block with all the labels, but that will probably be after I label all of my posts.

I was irritated about one thing in the new blogger though, and that is that I can’t get my archives side bar to organize from newest on top to oldest on bottom without upgrading my template to one of the new layouts template. Since this site is a modification of a Blogger classic template, and since I have spent many hours HEAVILY modifying that template, don’t expect a switch anytime soon! You see, with the old Blogger classic templates, you could copy the code into Dreamweaver for modification, but Dreamweaver doesn’t know what in the world to do with the new layouts template code so I don’t plan to switch right now.

But it’s no worse than it ever was before, and labels are certainly nice.

You may notice over on the right side, the section for Rachel’s Links still says coming soon. And it is really, she gave me a list of links she would like. I intend to go through them and see which one’s we both want on here, and merge them into one group and name that group something like Our Links or some such thing…

I am going to do it soon, honest!

Alrighty, I have the blog up and running. I fixed the comments formatting problem we were having and have cleaned up some other messes in the code. I think we are good. Now I have to finish the other 3 pages…

Okay, I was looking at some of the older posts with comments, and it appears the comments are doing strange things (though comments are working to a degree so feel free to comment… hint hint). I will try to find out what part of the code I messed up soon!

Okay, I simply have not had the time to keep up with everything, so I have simplified this website. As you can see, this blog is now the main drive of this site and there are only a couple other pages. Also, Rachel has decided to quit keeping up her own blog and starting posting on my blog here when she feels the urge to blog. Stay tuned as we try to find time to post some stuff.

Also, a special thanks to Mark Stubblefield and David Price for their opinions in the new design and layout of this site. Some of their opinions I took, some of them I didn’t, but this is a better design for their input. Thanks a bunch guys!
