I would like to introduce you all to MovingTruth.com, co-founded by myself, and my brother-in-law, David. MovingTruth is an online community of film makers, graphic designers, and photographers seeking to bring honor and glory to the Lord in all that they do. Following is a quote from the MovingTruth.com purpose statement:

The concept behind Moving Truth is not that truth moves and that we must keep up with its ever changing progress. No, God is truth and God is the same yesterday today and forever. The concept of moving truth is our work must proclaim God’s truth. The bible says in Ephs 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Photography along with cinematography are both powerful ways of spotlighting aspects of God’s truth and blessings on our lives. He has indeed not left us desolate in this fallen world He has equiped us with spiritual armor. He has enabled and commanded us, His people to communicate truth, both through our lives as well as our work. We are to worship God with all that we do.

Here is what I created today...

I am not a professional graphic designer, but I didn’t think this was too bad.

We are very excited at Franklin Springs Family Media because we have just sent The Peasall Sisters - Family Harmony out for duplication and will then be shipping the orders very soon. It has been a great project to work on, and the Peasalls are a great family.

This tells the wonderful story of a musical family that loves the Lord. And while they may have a few awards on their walls, and performed in the movie, “O Brother Where Art Thou” they have not let it go to their head. In fact, they are a joy to be around.

I hope all the readers of my blog will head over to our website and by a copy of the beautiful, family oriented movie.

We did it!!! Franklin Springs Family Media won the award for best Documentary of the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. We also made it into the finalists of the Jubilee award for the Best of the Film Festival, but we didn’t quite make it.

I’ll hopefully post some more when I get back and get rested up… it’s been a long week.
